Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) contains a glycoside (glycyrrhzin), flavonoids, asparagine, isoflavonoids, chalcones and coumarins. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is used for people who have or are susceptible to high blood pressure. This extract is standardized at 2% glycyrrhizin.
