Indications and usage: TriCare Prenatal DHA ONE with Folate Multivitamin/Mineral Softgels are indicated to provide multivitamin/mineral/essential fatty acid supplementation throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period for both the lactating and non-lactating mother. It is also useful for improving nutritional status prior to conception.
Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin B-12 is deficient.
Notice: Contact with moisture may produce surface discoloration or erosion of the tablets.
Precautions: Folic acid in doses above 10 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress.
Adverse reactions: Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid.
Dosage and administration: One softgel daily or as directed by a physician.
How supplied: TriCare Prenatal DHA ONE with Folate Multivitamin/Mineral Softgels for oral administration are supplied as purple softgels, imprinted in white ink: DHA 302 in a child-resistant plastic bottle of 30 softgels.
Warning: Ingestion of more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids (such as DHA) per day has been shown to have potential antihrombotic effects, including an increased bleeding time and International Normalized Ratio (INR). Administration of omega-3 fatty acids should be avoided in patients taking anticoagulants and in those known to have inherited or acquired predisposition to bleeding.
Store at controlled room temperature 20 degrees - 30 degrees C (68 degrees - 77 degrees F). Excursions permitted to 15 degrees - 30 degrees C (59 degrees - 86 degrees F).

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
