Rooibos Preparation Hot: To release the full flavor and benefits of rooibos, steep one tea bag in 8 oz of 200(0)F water for 10 minutes. Iced: Rooibos requires hot water to release its beneficial properties and flavor. Brew hot tea at double strength, then add ice. Special Instructions: South African farmers traditionally place a pot of rooibos on the woodstove and let it simmer all day. Not only is this the tastiest way to drink rooibos, it's also the healthiest, as the long steep-time releases more antioxidants. This carton is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paperboard. Please recycle it again. The wrappers that seal each tea bag are made from a compostable "biofilm." Please compost along with the tea bag.

Rooibos is a small shrub native to South Africa. Its leaves are brewed into a delicious, naturally caffeinefree tea. We source our rooibos from organic and fair trade cooperatives. EcoTeas rooibos is grown and processed by hand for superior quality, potency, and sustainability.
