The saw palmetto supports proper urinary and prostate function by maintaining healthy testosterone metabolism. Pygeum africanum has been show to modulate prostaglandin and prolactin metabolism in the prostate. Pumpkin seed extract provides essential fatty acids while nettle extract helps maintain healthy hormone metabolism in the prostate cells. Additionally, this formula contains lycopene, a potent antioxidant found in high concentrations in healthy prostate tissue. Zinc has been added for its known role in healthy prostatic function.
