Olive Complex is a comprehensive and uniquely concentrated blend of extracts from the fruit and leaf of Spanish olive trees (Olea europaea). The olive tree is among the longest-lived plants on the planet with many olive trees attaining thousands of years of age and remarkably, many of these ancient trees can still bear fruit. The fruit and leaf of the olive tree have long been revered by many systems of traditional medicine for their myriad health benefits. Modern science has validated these traditional uses, including their support of cardiovascular and immune system health. Olive leaf and fruit contain a unique complement of extremely powerful polyphenol-based protective compounds that can exert a “soothing” effect on our internal biochemistry. The two protective compounds we target for standardization are oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol, gently extracted from olive fruit and leaves grown, cultivated, collected and harvested in Spain.
