While there are many greens powders available the majority of them fall short. The #1 problem with most 'greens' products is the way the ingredients are dried. Most greens out there are drum dried or air dried, sometimes even at high temperatures to speed up the process. These drying methods cause the greens to lose tons of micronutrient potential, but manufacturers love them because it reduces the bitter flavor (you know, the taste caused by the health-benefiting micronutrients) and they are cheap. if the product doesn't specifically state its superior drying process, it's because they are dried using cheap methods. Concentrated Superfoods What truly makes superfoods "super" is their rich makeup of different micronutrients. Micronutrients include things like common vitamins and minerals, but more-so specific antioxidants and cofactors you have never heard of. In order to provide a wide variety of micronutrients in every serving, we chose specific extracts of fruits, mushrooms, and turmeric. Both of these blends use specific extracts and concentrates in order to get more of the key micronutrient in a small serving size. Think of it like drinking an espresso over traditional dripped coffee. A small shot of espresso delivers as much caffeine as 2 cups of regular coffee.
