Since oral iron products interfere with the absorption of oral tetracycline antiobiotics, these products should not be taken within two hours of each other.
This product may occasionally cause constipation, diarrhea, or may color stool black. It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea) which may be minimized by taking with meals.
Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
Suggested Use: Adults: Take one (1) packet daily with or after a meal as a dietary supplement, or as directed by your physician. Before taking, mix contents of packet with liquid or soft food such as applesauce. Take soon after mixing.
As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medications, ask a health professional before use.
