EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is one of the most beneficial polyphenol components in green tea, and is a powerful antioxidant that also has thermogenic properties, which helps increase metabolic activity. The polyphenol antioxidants in EGCG also support the body's cardiovascular system.
