VisiVite AREDS Lutein+ is based upon the National Eye Institute’s Age Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS), which showed that specific Anti-Oxidants and Zinc support the health of the retina. Lutein is substituted for the beta-carotene used in AREDS, for improved absorption and safety in people with smoking histories.
