Mushroom Wisdom has successfully isolated a substance (amyloban) from a mushroom called Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceum) that supports healthy nerves and brain (Japanese patent 394,3399). Also, research indicates that other active compounds (hericenones) from that same muchroom may stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) in the brain.
